The following was recorded live in our Every Day Incredible ladies Facebook group.

So, I hope you’ve all had a good day and this past week. As we talked about last week, I hope you guys have been really focusing on looking for laughter, and I still want you guys to share with me things that have made you laugh this past week. So you can do it in this thread or I made a post from a couple of days ago where we talked about things that made us laugh this week. Do keep sharing them with me, I love reading those!

Also, before we get into our breath prayer tonight, I wanted to invite you all to participate in something, and those of you who know me and know more about my story, you know that we also have a non-profit foundation in memory of our daughter. That ministry is to support families and individuals who have faced pregnancy and infant loss and every year at our local festival of trees we submit a memorial tree. I want to invite you all to take part in that and basically what that would mean would be that you can let us remember your loved ones with you. It doesn’t have to be an infant or a pregnancy loss it can be someone of any age and you just let us know a memory about them, something that makes you smile when you think about it and then of course the name. If you’d like to participate in that then just you can leave me a note here or you can send me a private message; however you want to do that. I would love to remember your loved ones with you.

With that said going on into the breath prayer and our thoughts for the evening. Today I had the privilege of attending the funeral for a man from our community who was a wonderful man and very highly respected in the community. Actually he was 106 years old as of last month.

It was an honor to be able to be there and to celebrate his life with his family and friends.  In the service, I loved that the minister really focused on- one of the speakers really focused on how he exhibited the fruits of the spirit. He was talking about all of those traits that other people noticed about him and as we left the funeral service, I said, “this is what I want people to be able to say about me. I want to leave that kind of legacy. I want people to be able to say, ‘I saw the fruits the spirit in her. I know that she was spirit filled.” That’s the legacy that I want to leave that’s something I want to model to my children. That’s something that is just a powerful testimony; when someone can say that about your life, and be able to say that they see you have those traits about you.

Hi Pam, I see you joining us there!

So on that thought, I want to read Galatians, chapter 5, verses 22 and 23 it says, “but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law.”

I love that thought. Those are the things that…you’re not going to go wrong, basically, if you’re focusing on exhibiting those things. You’re not going to go wrong. But the way that you are able to show those fruits is to have the Holy Spirit in you.

So the breath prayer for this week is, “Holy Spirit let you fruit be seen in me.”

If at any time this week you are tempted to respond in a way that does not show the fruits of the Spirit, when you start to lose your patience about something, or when you get really frustrated with someone else, or if you see someone coming and think, “oh, it’s them again,” or whatever the situation may be, just stop for a moment. Just whisper the breath prayer instead. Just let that be your prayer this week, “Holy Spirit let your fruit be seen in me.”

It’ll be a great reminder and it’s also good to remember that you’re not having to do it on your own. You don’t have to make those fruits appear on your own because those are the fruits of having the Holy Spirit in your life. It’s from being spirit-filled, so when you invite the Spirit in, He’s going to make the fruits grow.

It’s an important thing to remember that you’re not doing on your own. Hi Vanessa!

This week, we’re focusing on asking the Holy Spirit- just inviting the Holy Spirit to let His fruit be seen in your life, because we all know that we deal with other individuals that can make it a little difficult sometimes to be able to show those fruits. But what a legacy when when you’re able to exhibit that in your life daily! When you’re able to live a life in such a way that other people can watch you and know that you have the Spirit living in you, because you show those fruits.

Like I said at the very beginning, I would still love to hear what things have made you all laugh this week, and on top of that maybe what kind of legacy you hope to leave.

How are you living your life a legacy that would you like to leave for your children for those that are around you?  One light-hearted topic, and one that’s a bit more serious, but both very, very important, so be sure to share in the messages, or on this post if anyone wants to respond now.

If Facebook will let me see tonight I’m seeing people sign in but I can’t really see if anyone else is commenting.

So again, if you would like to participate in our festival of trees tree for the Carys Rainn Foundation, be sure to let me know your loved one’s information and I would be honored to remember them with you and I hope you all have a wonderful, wonderful week! bye!
