I’m feeling heartbroken over the recent late-term abortion decisions.
Before you get mad, this is not a message of condemnation, so be sure to read to the end before reacting.
I was talking to one of my sons this week about how when his baby brother was still in my belly, I knew he was going to love music (and even at 18 months, the kiddo has rhythm and loves music!) because he’d be still until we would be in church for praise and worship on Sunday mornings and every time, he’d perk up and be moving all over, like he was dancing. His little personality was forming even then.
Each life is SO incredibly precious. Each life is God-given.
John 10:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Satan was thrown from Heaven for trying to take over and BE God. Now, he tries to oppose God any way he can, taking life, stealing blessings, and lying. ALL THE TIME. If he can “play God” by stealing a life, he will. This is NOT how God designed things to be.
With that said, for anyone who has gone through the pain and deception of abortion, YOU CAN STILL HAVE HEALING! You can still have peace, joy, and redemption.
That is exactly why God sent His Son to die on the cross.
Romans 8:1-2
1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
IF you are “in Christ Jesus,” meaning – if you have repented of the sin (giving in to the deception of the enemy and acting on/dwelling on those untruths that are NOT of God), there IS NO condemnation anymore. That price has been paid. He did it for you.
That goes for any sin! If you repent of the pride, the unforgiveness, the bitterness, etc. … if you repent of the attitudes that are in opposition to who you are in Christ Jesus and you align yourself with the truth of God – the WORD of God, you have spiritual freedom readily available to you.
Learn to put on your spiritual armor. For real, not just playing dress-up. Learn to stand your ground and pray effectively. This is a message of hope, peace, and redemption. It’s not about condemnation and guilt- that is ALWAYS from the enemy.
