The Power of Music
I was reminded the other day of some of the music that was popular when I was in high school, and it always fascinates me how music has the power to bring us back to so many emotions we experienced during a period of time, good or bad.
It can be powerful!
Use that to your advantage.
I’m going to challenge you to go to youtube today and create a playlist for the next time you’re having a rough day. Add songs that you KNOW lift your mood and help you through the day. I’ve personally learned that any time I’m having a difficult day, turning on some praise and worship and singing along makes for a very quick change!
Of course, you could also load up an ipod/mp3 player to have on hand too!
Come tell us in the group what your pick-me-up songs are. Better yet, share your playlist with us!
