Peace and Protection

I recently came across Psalm 91 and read it as a blessing over my home. I felt overwhelmed by the imagery and the reassurance it gave me! I wanted to share it with you today, and encourage you to read it out loud as a blessing in your home too!

I was thinking earlier about how God radiates. With the light that radiates from God, Himself, there couldn’t possibly be true shadows as we would think of, could there? So when I’m reading, “in the Shadow of the Almighty,” I’m thinking of how His divine nature shields us from the harmful effects of being surrounded by a spiritual battlefield.

I’ll stop my own imagery there because this passage is overflowing with it as it is.

I encourage you today to pray that God helps you dwell in His shelter – in His shadow. Be blessed!
