Matthew 18:18-20

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

 

According to Wikipedia (and the Encyclopaedia Biblica/Beth Rehob-Box), “to bind and to loose simply means to forbid by an indisputable authority and to permit by an indisputable authority.” Binding and loosing was a common Jewish term in biblical days, and referred to what was permitted or forbidden.

When it comes to your behaviors and thoughts, what do you forbid and allow according to God’s Word?

When you are aligning yourself with God’s word and agreeing together that God’s word IS true and what you are inviting to manifest and loosing (or binding/forbidding) in your life – that’s powerful!
