Confess your sins to one another?

We know that sin gives the enemy a foothold to manipulate and torment. When you are struggling to not give in to the temptation to be bitter, resentful, prideful, unforgiving, or anything else… confess that to a trusted, righteous friend or mentor you know will be praying fervently.

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16

When you are verbalizing your sin and renouncing it while asking for divine help, you are actively separating yourself from it and humbling yourself. THEN you are positioning yourself for God’s protection, provision, and ample blessings!
