Sometimes, life is just HARD.

It can seem at times that you’re being hit from all angles, and you just don’t get it. When you’re trying to do the right things and you’re working hard to move forward but seem to just keep being knocked down again.

It can be easy to question God, or even become angry with Him. “If only He would just…..”

Have you been there? Are you there now?

Jer 29:11: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”

I am occasionally reminded of a dream I once had in which I was in a car that was traveling quickly down a curvy, country road. I was in the passenger seat and I could not see anyone in the driver’s seat, but knew in the dream that it was being controlled remotely. I felt anxious that I wasn’t driving and I woke up just as I was climbing into the driver’s seat.

In the dream, I didn’t trust. I tried to take over.

How often do you try to plan and move plans along on your own, without relying on God’s plan? God always has a loving plan… even if it seems painful before it gets better.

God LOVES you. He has your best interests in mind, I promise. You just have to choose to let Him do the driving!
