Where do your thoughts dwell?

What occupies your thoughts throughout the day? When you are tempted to give in to negativity, discouragement, worry, anger, bitterness, and more, do you dwell there? OR do you make a conscious effort to change the channel?

Phil 4:8: Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

As a therapist, this is one of my FAVORITE verses. There is such incredible power in our thoughts… where we choose to focus our attention makes a huge difference in how we feel and behave. It’s all connected.

If take on this verse as your motto and focus on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, or praiseworthy, you WILL see a positive change in your life. It makes a difference!!
