Green with Benefits ☕️
I just found an article at Dr. Axe about green tea explains what green tea is (where it’s coming from) and some of the many benefits of it.
Green, black and oolong teas come from the Camellia sinensis plant. Green tea consists of leaves that haven’t been fermented so they contain the highest level of antioxidants.
The article gives resources that suggest some of the following benefits:
- Reducing atherosclerosis and risk of heart disease
- Lowering blood pressure
- Reducing cholesterol levels
- Reducing inflammation in arthritis cases
- Improving bone density
- Improving memory
- Preventing cancer
