It is for freedom that Christ has set us free

Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

You are FREE. Once you realize that and shake off the chains to stop living like a slave, be wary of anything that can sneak those chains back onto you.

What is it that chains you? Bitterness? Resentment? Addiction? Gossip? Striving for Success?

I want to challenge you to pause today and close your eyes.

Visualize whatever that struggle as a chain that is bound to your hands and feet, keeping you weighed down. Then, visualize Jesus, with nail-scarred hands, removing them from you.

What opened the door for those chains to enslave you? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any habits or beliefs that are holding that door open in your life. We have spiritual weapons to destroy those strongholds. I encourage you now to take that thought and dig in. Do your own research and keep seeking until you find what it is you are needing most.
